　　波莫纳的录取竞争十分激烈，2005年入学的学生申请时，平均每五人中只有不到一人领到了“入场券”。它的费用和其他文理学院基本持平而奖学金却比较少，而且它并不喜欢书呆子学生，虽然他们要求的SAT分数几乎是文理学院中最高的。
